- Solutions Architect for the Civil and Health Business unit. As a part of a group of eight solutions architects we provided capture support and guidance, ad-hoc support to programs on an as needed basis and assisted in develping technical strategy and vision for the business unit.
- Participated in capture efforts as technical lead and solutions architect with estimated new business value for Peraton of over $2 billion dollars.
- Automated the management, build and distribution of CSSG golden AMI's. Using the AWS EC2 Image Builder service I developed custom components, recipes and pipelines that ensured CSSG and CSSG customers adhered to Peraton InfoSec guidance with respect to AMIs. AMIs managed included Red Hat and CentOS 7, Amazon Linux 2, as well as Windows and SQL Server 2016 and 2019. All components were managed by CloudFormation, simplifyihg management and update of the various components.
- Developed CloudFormation templates to integrate with CSSG ServiceNow platform creating service offerings for customers. These offerings allowed CSSG customers to launch pre-approved services in a repeatable fashion from ServiceNow that were pre-approved by InfoSec. This also helped reduce CSSG work by automating tasks CSSG admins or architects previously had to perform for the projects.

- Represent cloud interests and CSSG at the business unit level setting strategy, monitoring and participating in capture efforts, and advising the business unit president.
- Currently serving as the technical lead and solutions architect on four proposal efforts with a potential value of over $2 billion dollars in new business for Northrop Grumman.
- Developing an automated process for building InfoSec approved Golden AMI's using EC2 Image Builder. I have developed a base pipeline for Red Hat 7, CentOS 7 and Amazon Linux 2 AMI's and I am currently working on managing all pipelines, recipees and components using CloudFormation. In the next two quarters, I plan on integrating this feature with our ServiceNow platform to allow CSSG customers to request custom images as a service.
- Drafted and submitted a full Information Systems Security Plan (ISSP) for the CSSG AWS operating environment that met requirements for CSSG to self-certify as NIST 800-171 compliant.

- Managed cloud infrastructure for Python and Node.js applications using CloudFormation Infrastructure as Code. Developed, maintained and updated all CloudFormation templates, eventually migrating deployment of them to Jenkins and adopting a Continuous Integration (CI) workflow.
- Assisted development teams in adopting CI workflows. Migrated development from manually launched scripts, to a Jenkins workflow by writing jenkinsfiles for each application or advising the developers on writing them. Additionally helped the teams adopt SonarQube, giving them code quality reports on every commit.
- Served as a temporary scrum master while our teams scrum master was on personal leave. While still maintaining my development work, I was able to keep the team meeting program management goals for the sprints I managed.
- Cohort lead for Northrop AWS professional and specialty level certification cohorts, working to increase the number of AWS certified engineers within the company. Lead cohorts, help cohort members prepare for upcoming certifications, and log succesful certification attempts to track current certifications.
- Acted as a mentor to several junior engineers and summer interns.

- Led a team of systems administrators supporting multiple LAMP stack applications written on Drupal and Wordpress. Supported upgrades and updates, troubleshot issues with the systems and worked closely with the development teams to add features and support their goals.
- Led operations efforts in performing two major upgrades of managed applications from a Windows based IIS platform running on Drupal 5, to LEMP stack applications running on Drupal 6. Worked closely with the development teams to help them meet their development goals, and migrate their applications on time, meeting go-live date.
- Led effort to standardize REI applications on the New Relic application performance monitoring (APM) tool. This tool provided REI application teams deep insights into the running of their application, allowing them up make updates and add features to improve user experience of their application. Additionally, New Relic provided utilization statistics on the underlying hardware that complemented Nagios monitoring, and assisted in planning for future growth of application hardware.
